Programme highlights with Ulrich: Lake crossing and guided fishing tours

Ulrich is a former Carinthian swimming supervisor, lifesaver and still a water lover. With the diving goggles he explores the lakeside and searches for the best fishing spots.

He is in charge of our lake crossing every Saturday (1042 m swimming distance; mid-June to mid-September) and acts as a rear guard with his rowing boat as one of the many accompanying boats. He, too, often rows to the fishing nets and, if time permits, casts a net near the waterfront that goes all the way to the bottom of the lake in order to catch fish that tarry close to the shore.

Programme highlights with Robert: Shiatsu, singing bowl treatment & drum workshop

Robert from Klagenfurt found his love in Millstatt: Gerda, Peter's sister. Since then he enriches the hotel with his musicality and calmness. As a certified shiatsu practitioner he offers special treatments for our guests. His drum workshops in the evenings are something special and an experience for young and old alike.

Programme highlights with Peter: Guided fishing tours, mountain bike tours and tobogganing tours

Peter grew up here in the Villa Postillion. His grandfather and father taught him everything about net fishery. Now he regularly rows out to the fishing nets with the rowing boat in order to catch fresh fish that is served daily for our guests. Our guests have the chance to accompany Peter on a fishing trip and get to know the art of net fishery.

As a certified mountain bike guide he is familiar with the surrounding mountains and is glad if he is joined by a group of people to ride on bumpy forest trails, climb mountains, visit alpine huts and ride rapidly back down to the valley.

In winter he likes to be, often together with Inna and many teenagers, at the Schwaiger hut, on a superb 4.5 km toboggan run.

Peter Pindt & Peter Funder | Programme highlights: Tennis

The two Peters are connected through a decades-long sporting and work-related friendship. Competitive sports and pedagogical work shaped their professional and private careers. State certified instructor programmes, tennis training experiences with children, teenagers and sports clubs have made them both experienced heads of the tennis facilities. On 4 groomed, peacefully situated sand courts children and adults receive tennis training. Due to the advantaged sun-exposed location of the courts they can be opened with the first springtime sunbeams. This fact and the close proximity to the Villa Postillion, which is only 200m away, make it an ideal training venue starting from the end of March for sports clubs and for the preparation for the upcoming season.

Lessons (all prices contain the rent for the tennis court): Personal trainer lesson of 45 min: EUR 35.- | partner training of 45 min: EUR 16.- per person | children's trial lesson of 45 min: EUR 15.-

Programme highlights with Norbert: 

Norbert is head of the water sports centre Millstatt. With a lot of skill, sense and sunny disposition he helps you enter the water with surfboard, sailing boat or stand-up paddling board and return with a happy smile. Group and individual lessons on demand.

Programme highlights with Inna: Herb expedition, green cosmetics and My 1st Summit, skiing lessons for the little ones

Inna is the aesthete in our house. With a lot of love for detail and warmth she decorates tables and rooms. Flowers, plants and herbs are her great passion. During her herb expedition in the hotel's herb garden she loves to exchange views about the vegetation. Lately she also discovered green cosmetics. After taking a course and eager praxis she now creates lipstick and creams with ingredients from our garden.

Inna loves nature and hiking in the Nock Mountains and she wants to raise this passion among the children of our guests. "My 1st Summit" - an easy alpine pasture hike in which especially young families participate.

In winter, the youngest have the chance to take their first steps on skis in a playful way with her on our magic hill, directly at the Familienhotel Post.

Programme highlights with Eva: Shorter and longer alpine pasture hikes, aqua fitness, guided snowshoeing tours 

Senior partner Eva is a bundle of energy. If she is not on tour in the mountains, you can find her doing aqua fitness, gardening or bustling about in the house to check if everything is in order. With her many years of mountain experience and her hiking guide qualification she finds the right hiking and snowshoeing tours (and not to forget cosy huts to stop for a bite to eat) at any time of the year.

No matter whether you just want to do something good for your body or if you have aches and pains in back or neck, Eva and her team are the right person for your personal wellbeing. They have a fine sense, healing hands and is therefore often able to help.

On a wine tour in our historic armorial room Christian takes our guests to the different regions of Austria. This evening tour through Austria's wine districts is not only interesting, but also very entertaining. He is always good for a laugh and usually reaches top form during nighttime.

Programme highlights with Andrea: Yoga, Nordic Walking, Pilates

Andrea is a qualified health, movement and fitness trainer. Exercise and nature dominate her life! Having travelled the world for many years, she is now back in her homeland with her husband and her son.

She is qualified and trained in all kinds of sports and her Nordic Walking and yoga classes have been a fixed part of our sport and fitness offers for many years.

Programme highlights with Alena Nemcic: Spinal exercises, Pilates

"Aja" is a qualified physiotherapist. Every Wednesday you can convince yourself of her cheerful, pleasant way of getting the body moving. As a former top athlete and Slovakian handball international she knows the body inside out. With a lot of experience and a special sense she trains every muscle and the body expresses its gratitude with a pleasant wellbeing. She now lives in Millstatt with her husband and her two children.
